agreed. the MLB is in a tough situation. You can't put an astrerisk because still as of right now he has not been convicted of anything. But if these allegations in the book are true, bonds is in deep shiet. Might face jail time because he lied to the grand jury.

I think his personality should not be taken into consideration as the catalyst to deface him 24/7. whether or not he has charm, is good with media interviews etc. should not hold weight when compared to the fact that he did use roids. however, the decorum people use greatly affects the perceived notions about them and thus can have a positive/negative impact pending how their personality is. other MLB'ers such as Mark Mc Gwire should have just as much media press regardless if they have evidence to prove they were using banned substances or not. Finally someone else who agree with me. everything you said is true. And yes it is true, those performance enhancing drugs he took were not deemed illegal by the MLB so hence he technically didn't break any rules. But under the court of public opinion, steroids is steroids which is true so obviously he's done something wrong. But the MLB should not put an asterisk under his records period nor should he banned like some people have suggested.

Dude how about STFU? if you read my posts earlier i have stated that i think he's done steroids. Didn't deny it. If you actually comprehended with anything that i said in the earlier thread you know that i still think highly of bonds because of the skill that he brings to the game. Now thats odd. Bonds hasn't been convicted of anything. Pete Rose is an admitted gambler of baseball. It's the cardinal sin not to bet on baseball. Although i do agree with Pete Rose needs to be in the HOF because of his on the field accomplishments your comments are very contradictory. YOU DONT BET ON BASEBALL.

I have not played organized baseball in years but I do know it is hard to his as many homers as Barry has hit in his lifetime. Many players use the same drugs Barry used without the same "results". During Jim Rome today, he interviewed the 2 authors of the book and they named off about 5 or so OTHER Giants players who admitted to the grand jury they used illegal stuff. now granted illegal substances are illegal for a reason, but the point is "everyone" is doing it with different results. this means there is some skill level involved in hitting that many homeruns not to mention how many times he has been intentionally walked the past few years. point is: Barry is guilty but nothing an be done until the shit finishes flowing down the creek. meaning: MLB fixes the drug policy and life goes on. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
