Hey Kenny, dont you think that you are just a little biased being you are a Giants fan? I mean would you be such a fan of him if he wasnt on your team and will break the record in a Giants uniy? I personally think you are just biased.

I know he will get it, is pretty obvious and will be a shame, but the record will always be tarnished because of the steriod thing. Sucks, but is how it is and really is MLB's own fault. Cant really even blame Barry being he is still allowed to play the game.

With that said, I dont care if he did steriods, a lot of athelets do them. I mean it is a way of cheating, but has been done through out all sports by someone down the line. I dont want him to get it because he is the biggest ******* in my generation. His auroa and attitude just **** ***! So will be a shame to see a good guy like Hank Aaron lose the record to such a pompus ***!

i try not to be biased at all. key word "try." i try to tell what i see. i've watched a-rod, pujols, ryan howard, manram, big papi, etc. all hit and while they are very good, bonds was simply in a league of his own. he simply doesn't swing out of the strike zone. watch an at bat of his. he rarely ever ever check swings and he spits on curveballs and sliders. he already knows whats coming out of the pitchers hands most of the time.

maybe i'm nieve but tell me how i'm biased? i'm not saying i'm not biased but i'm trying to tell what i've seen. i know he's an ******* and i know he's done steroids. i can't defend bonds the person but i can defend bonds the player. people outside of the bay area simply do not know how good he is. they just think "oh he's done steroids and he's a cheat." yes thats true but i mean he' also very very good player and that is my point. what have i stated that seem to be "biased?" i mean like i said, will steroids fix a mechanically bad swing? no. will steroids help a hitters eye? no. will steroids help a players hand eye coordination? no. john kruk, harold reynolds, peter gammons and the whole espn crew have broken down bonds' swing and all agree, it doesn't get any better mechanically than his swing. IMO i think i'm just defending him but again with good observations not just "oh barry is the man and he's the greatest." i'm trying to explain what he's actually doing.

obviously him taking steroids jumped him from being considered from a hall of fame player to being considered one of the greatest ever. so i'm not really denying how steroids has affected him as a player. how can steroids help? i can't honestly give you an answer. the only thing i really can think of is it'll give him the energy to do it everyday. it'll give him energy to out for 162 games to go out and pound the ball. i honestly think that he knew big mac and sammy sosa were doing the juice and got jealous to see them get all the publicity. thats what probably got him started. but also people forget he was voted the best player in the 90's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif.

Hey I am not taking anything away from the player. He has had an amazing career, but he ruined it for himself and MLB has had something to do with it. Yes, I think he took steriods, yes, he is one of the biggest assholes on planet earth. Is he a great player? Of course, some with all those old timers you mentioned that did something bad back in the day. It happens, not everyone is a saint nor ment to be a role model, but I think when you are as good as he is and had the career he has that he should have stepped up and said, yeah I did that and maybe I shouldnt be such an ******* being these people pay to watch me. I mean it would be different if he would have conducted himself in a better manner, but he is so full of himself, so I guess what can you expect.

When I say you being biased, I mean because you are a Giants fan and everytime someone says something negeitve you are always sticking up for him. I just wonder if you would have done the samething if he wasnt on your team.

Guy has an amazing swing and a heck of an eye, no question about that though.

true i am a giants fan but just cause i stick up for him doesn't mean i'm biased. i try to state good observations and facts. some of the things i might say could be a little slanted but still, i try to state what i see. at least i try to back up what i say with evidence rather just making statements with no proof. or do i just think i do?

You have made statements and have debated with Snova AKA Machoman, and have had some proof, but Snova did have a good point how he wasnt hitting all those home runs early on in his career. I mean he was still knocking them out, but not like he was during the Sosa, McGwire era. So makes you wonder you know. I know steriods wont do much for eye hand codernation or how well you swing the bat, but it will help him with the power.

Hell with the way he had tarnished his reputation, the only thing great about Barry Bonds is how great of an ******* one person can be in sports.

And youll notice most hitters either hit for power or average. Hitting with a power stroke makes it harder to hit the ball square. When hitting for average you dont swing as hard and hit the ball square more. The stronger you are you can use more of a swing on the average side and hit homeruns.

k, k , sorry. haha exaggerated must have been the wrong word. "wrong" would have been more correct. but like i said, the numbers starting from 1999 do open your eyes, i don't deny that.

Bonds is a defined power contact hitter. he's been like that all his life. look at his stats, the man has had only one year of striking out more than 100 times and that was his rookie year. and look at other power hitters in their career. for example manny ramirez and a-rod, they have had numerous seasons where they have struck out more than 100 times. like i said, there is a reason why other than steroids why he's good. mechanically its probably the best swing in the game. here's an article mr. tony gwynn wrote himself:

yes he does state that bonds is bigger and did state that a person his age should lose bat speed but he also states that with bonds' sound mechanics he could see why bonds' has not lost any bat speed at all.

i have his rookie baseball card sealed up in a factory set from 87 so i hope he breaks it and prices go up on it so i can sell it

If you go back earlier in his career... LOOK at the size of bonds. He was freakin skinny compared to now. His shoulders are all bulky and his arms are huge. Looks very similar to... Jose Canseco...Palmero... and most definately MARK MCGWIRE. I bet sammy sosa used steriods as well. The point is they are all little *****es because they used steriods to improve their game. Everyone of those players named would only be "good" players in the books but because of the fact that they used steriods and their is really no proof over the years they are considered great steriods. Hank Aaron will always be considered a better baseball PLAYER and homerun HITTER than fake *** bonds. He needs to stop blaming white people about how blacks are treated unfairly and etc etc and start blaming himself for taking steriods.

Also I like the fact that he doesnt steal bases anymore like he used to because his ****ing arms are the size of rockets.
