ok cool well that just made me a little happier, but i have been looking on how to do it and im confused on exact steps.

It's simple.

Find all the connections first b4 you replace.

You need to find the wires that go from your alt to +batt, -batt to chassis/frame, and from chassis/frame to engine block. Once you have located these wires, then replace them with 1/0 ga wire. You have completed the Big 3. Make sure that all grounds are grounded to bare metal. So sand any rusted spot of the connection that doesnt show bare metal. It's very simple and easy, crim-ons work the best IMO.

If it's BNIB and he wants your cap, I'd do it in a heart beat. You dont need the cap and you can sell the Audax 5.25's for some extra cash if you dont plan to use them.

A sealed box can't be tuned.

Something like 2.5ft^3 - 3.5ft^3 tuned to 30hz-35hz would be perfect for that sub.

Well this goes for paint too, it needs to be bare metal for a good connection.
