hey if i had 100$ to spend on any sub setup(not including box, what would you pick, i have a 1000w amp and a small car. its a 2000 dodge avenger. so what would you do? you can spend more but put the price.

lol a sony xplode. butg dont hate it. it ran 3 12's rockfords fine. its was a first car audio buy. i dont regret it, just would buy something more for money.

Ouch, any chances of you getting rid of that amp? You know you can find a lot better for the money, right?

Anyway, I suggest only running 1 sub on that amp. You'll probably get more out of it with a D4 sub.

Are you trying to stick with the same size sub or do you want to increase the cone and go for a 15"?

Hmm, you probably should upgrade your elctrical a little first if you blew a sub with that amp. IMO

Aside from the sub, what have you done for your electrical? I'm looking for only one thing that you need to do...

You could run a AQ SDC2.515, they're only $160+ shipping. But I would suggest running a better amp

well the electrical was why im looking for a lower priced sub atm, b/c im running a stock alt with 2gauge wire, and a 2 farad cap, currently its all out of my car for no use, upgrading alt and 1/0 in the summer

It's probably b/c you're not selling it right. You DEF wont sell that on here or any of the car audio forums. What you should do is sell it to some DA high school kid.

Is wrong from the start.

Your alt and batt are fine, no need to upgrade.

Your Power/gound wire is more than enough, hell you can still use 4ga wire and that still will be more than enough.

Get rid of the cap, ASAP. No need for it.

You need to do the big 3.

Well you can avoid buying "stupid crap" if you do some good research 1st b4 you buy anything. This goes for everything else not just car audio. If you have questions, ask us. You might get flamed but at least someone will give you an answer.
