Seems like a waste to have such little port area for such beefy subs with good power. 56 sq/in is NOTHING man

Heck I might even do 4 of them

If your trying to keep it fancy, and care about spending any more money, maybe try a kerfed port or something.

I highly suggest more port area though

Yeah, but you don't really need as much port area when using aeroports. It will be fine with two 6" Aero's, I'm just a fan of large slot ports.

You are right in a sense. No you don't need as much port area when using aeroports vs slot ports but he is still short. The rule of thumb is 8-12" per cubic foot and he will have about 7.46 sq in per cubic foot with a 7.5 cu box.

with 6in aero its best to use 1 per 2cf i ran 4 12in dc lv4 xl also and use 4 6in aeros with 8cf in my explorer

lots of people are afraid to put phones near magnets but my dad is a medical engineer (works on cat scans, mri's, etc) and he always has his phone on him even when he's right up next to the core. He's never had any problems..

no, his name is BJ, his is a silver 2 dr explorer with a wall of CVR's, mine is a newer explorer, he also goes to AUM

gonna end up doing a bigger box and sticking 3 6"s in there, just to be safe, also gonna up the tuning to 35hz to keep from having to buy a 2nd extension tube

well 3 are out of the question, add 60-70$ more for parts and length would be ~27" long, box is only going to be 28-30" long
i would rather not do a slot port, been wanting to try Aeros

so im gonna try a box with 2 6"s in there and see how it goes unless anyone has any other ideas to put in

But even with 8cu and 3 6in aeros....the stock length will tune them too 36hz.
