IMO, that officer was way out of line. That was practically child abuse. If the kid did break the law, he should've just simply handcuffed him. It didn't look like kid was under arrest or resisting arrest.

Teenagers ought to know their rights and laws.

If their school offered a class on Law, then they would've known calling an officer dude, and video taping in pubic is unlawful.

i would have done alot more to that cop if he did that shit to me. ive been a dick to a cop once, and its because im sick of their powertrips and shit. ive been pulled out of my truck thrown up against it and yelled at, all because i was sitting in my vehicle in my neighborhood.

ive been taken out of my vehicle and freinds vehicles and searched 3 other times for absolutely no reason at all. also the only ticket ive ever gotten was because i stopped 2 feet past the white line at a stop sign, 167 bux for that shit. ive also had cops pull guns on me before when i was just trying to get help b/c my freinds car broke down...

i FVCKING HATE COPS, and have absolutely no respect for them.

you have some shitty luck lol. but you also have to understand that there are some good cops. i would bet the majority are good, but you have the shitters who screw up the image. you wont hear it in the news about good cops, but you will have about bad ones. just keep that in mind, they arent all shit heads.

best advice is to know your rights, do not give into tactics they use to try to make you give up your rights, be respectful. if they get violent, do not respond in a violent manner despite what your instincts tell you, and file a report. it sucks but its better than getting shot.

Breaking a law? Murder, is breaking a law, stealing, is a breaking a law, assault, is breaking a law. Skateboarding? Some kids trying to have fun doing nothing harmful (to others) is breaking the law? If you think this cop was in line for what he did, then you are just as bad.
