Anyway to tell what model JL subs are from the outside? i am looking at these (the ones on the bottom) it looks like they are in a good sized box and look to be in alright shape but he doesn't know the model number on them. He said it was aa3037 but that doesn't return anything on google.

Depends. If you knew they worked perfectly, I'd say yes... But they weren't very expensive to begin with and wouldn't be worth the gamble to me if I couldn't test them first.

Of the two, JL. But I'd seriously consider looking elsewhere. You can find some really good deals if you look around. Stuff pops up on here all the time.

well i got the arc amp for 50 bucks... so ha im always looking for good deals and i like to have your guys help in deciding what i should do because i have already made many bad purchases

Such as alpine type E 10's in a sealed box for 140 (they were brand new) a diamond audio d3 12 that makes fart noises and a pioneer amp i am trying to sell..

But i love the thrill of finding good deals on craigslist..

how much do you think my arc amp is actuall worth? Its not in good condition but works fine

oh and also its a 95 318is... it isn't any crazy expensive bmw

It's worth more than you paid, can't tell you much more than that.

How much space do you have to work with?

Is that amp 1ohm stable?

How much are you willing to spend?

Answer these questions and I'm sure this board will find you a better set of subs than what you are currently looking at.
