So I wanted to lower the car, but didn't want to justify worrying about if I bottom out and such. So I decided to bag it. I know a lot of people won't find this interesting and will flame it, but oh well its happening anyways. So here we go...

The car...

More stuff should arrive next week and be assembling the rear shortly.

def second set of wheels. ive got a bagged s10. once u go bagged u wont ever go back to static. Slam bags FTW! what kind of valves and compressors do u plan on running? ill try to help you out all i can if u need it. the jetta uses a coil spring and not a coil over?

I ordered some smc 3/8 valves. Just four for now. I don't want it real quick, but I'm thinking about when I get around to the front getting ordering 4 1/2 valves and just using the 3/8 ones for dumps.

Yeah the rear is just a coil spring and the front is a strut, so not sure about them yet. Only struts I've seen for my car is from easystreet and I don't care for air lift bags. Guess they could be swapped out, but would be more money out the pocket.

As far as compressors I'm not sure what I should run. Maybe dual Viair 380s. I plan to stick with Viair as far as brand I guess though.

Yeah I have a vortex account, but don't go on there much. Seen some of the air ride setups posted there.

I don't know if you mean the bags I have chosen **** or if the choices I have for my car ****. This obivsouly isn't going to be a performance style air suspension. And for that case the Slam bags are very nice bags and awesome warranty.

i would do 3/8 valves with 1/2 line. its a nice daily driver speed, and u can always slow it down with "slowdowns" if need be. i would suggest doing dual 480s , the speed is good and 200psi ftw. i had a 450 and it only goes to 150psi, and then i got an air zenith, and its so nice having 200, and really nice fill times too

Pieces came to build my cups for the rear today...

If running 3/8 valves and 1/2 line what fittings would I need just to hook up 4 valves for the time being for the rear? Tank is 9 port 6 are 1/4 and the other 3/8 ports. I'm sure I can figure it out if I sit down and look at it though.

iv read a lot of mixed reviews on all kinds of bag kits, on there ( i dont meam to jump on you)

there are a few N. American kits that are great, eurojet.. etc.

but euro bags seem to be the best.

also custom is the way to go.

god luck and keep posting them pics!

Yeah thats why I like the 1st ones, BBS style knockoff. BBS are nice but those 3 pc. rims would really hurt the pockets. I've been stuck on the first ones I've posted for a while now, so more than likely those are what is going on.
