I remember when Centerline had those Smoothies on sale for a ridiculously low price...it was like $200 for a 20" wheel...lots of people grabbed them up then. With the right truck, they can look pretty good.

They are still pretty cheap. They have them in 15s now.

ive just known a couple people that have airbags and in their cases, they've been very unreliable. leaky/blown lines, bad bags, etc etc

That is a good point, too. It can be a pain in the *** if not done right. Honestly, if you want bags, call them at ******* Doors and they will help you out. One of the employees (his name is Dave) is an admin at S10Forum.com and also runs Afterhours Fabrications...he's had a few magazine spots and has done a bunch of tutorials on frame and bodywork for S10's.

I am 4/5 static with an ex cab.

Sometimes it is ftl. Parked it is ftw.

I really need to get the driveline carrier that fits inside the frame.

i really couldnt tell you, but from what ive heard, id only run slam specialties bags. go to http://www.suicidedoors.com and you can actually piece together your own kit if you go in to air management systems iirc. id go with RE7 bags in front RE8s in back, 3/8 DOT air line, adjustable pressure switch, 7gal tank, 10 switch switchbox and a viair compressor

id just do a nice 3/4 or maybe even a 4/5 static drop, depending on what size wheels you're wanting to run

for a daily driver you better have a bullit proof setup... dont want to be going down the highway and have a bag/ line go out on you.. it sucks..

i dropped my 91 sonoma with spindles, lower control arm's, blocks and springs, front and rear.. right now it sit's about 2'' from frame to ground.

i took out the rear bump stop's and it rides alllllloooot smoother now...

ive allways wanted to bag my truck but cant afford it...

shit i did 6/7 drop. but im rolling 15's on 50 series tires so my tires make up for it.

I am rolling 15s with 75 series tires...

I think from time to time about doing a 5/6 but I scrape enough as is.

i dont dive my truck as mutch as i used to.. just sit's in the shop and i use it to do misc yard work..

my acura is actually lower.. way lower.. and i dont really scrape at all.. just depends on how i pull into certin area's..
