bad gas mileage

Before a week ago, I was getting about 20+miles a gallon, then all of a sudden I started getting around 10 miles a gallon, its really eating my gas budget so please help me. I haven't changed anything, so i don't know what it could be. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks John

check fuel filter and also clean your air filter, anything to help you out a little. if you are carburated pull the carb off and blow the ports out with some berrymans carburator cleaner.

u need to check the oxygen sensor n also ur air temp sensor. a ignition tune up would also pry help. other than that it could be something in ur ECU

also, make sure your air sensors are in working order etc. it's tough to diagnose this problem over teh internet. Bring it in somewhere, pay teh 40 bucks and get it looked at. Could be a more serious issue than we are thinking.

hell your gas tank could have a crack in it or something crazy like that

i guessing fuel injector gaskets maybe. i got a problem with smelling gas in my garage so i need to look further into that, my guess is the fuel injectors gaskets.

there are many different things it could be. take it to a mechanic for your best diagnosis. thats a problem that would be very hard to diagnois over the computer. sorry to hear about your bad luck man
