Backup camera/reverse trigger

Am I right that the trigger wire on headunits for the backup camera is a positive trigger since it's supposed to hook up to the positive wire of the reverse lights?

If I'm correct then I'll just put a switch in between the trigger and 12v so I can switch to the rear camera whenever I want.

lol i guess im the only other 1 who used 1 of these.

yes its a pos trigger that goes to the reverse white lights pos side. i took out my whole camera. it gets annoying when the music stops playing when im backing up
