I have Pioneer AVH X3500BHS and installed a Absolute 770 backup camera but my radio keep going to a Blank screen with warning Image may be in Reversed view. I can touch home screen but it goes right back to blank screen, it will show image when in reverse but when im in drive or park it goes to blank black screen

Most aftermarket backup cameras are wired with their switched power source connected to the reverse lights so if you're not in reverse the camera is off...which would explain the black screen.

pretty sure there is a way to bypass the handbreak and reverse function by wiring/earthing out some cables but cant remember what ones, also not too sure bout the newer pioneer headunits.

light green cable to ground , but use a toggle switch between the 2 wires ,then just wire up the cameras power source to the remote .you will need t use the camera setting on the deck tho ,unless hooked into the reverse lights

You have something wrong.

I have the x8500 and my reverse camera works perfectly fine. I think that purple mixed

Color wire (purple:white?) needs to be connected to the positive wire of the reverse lights. Then u just ground the camera and give it a 12v source and your good. I can activate my camera anytime

By pushing the camera Icon and it automatically goes on when in reverse. Sounds like u did something wrong

i wouldnt think it would be the parking brake thats the problem. I would check the settings in the deck and you can change the polarity for the camera to work from neg or pos trigger. Start with the setting first. what might be happening is its set to neg trigger which is where it rests at. and if you used the reverse wire and not acc to power the cam that will only power on in reverse. make sure that the screen is not set to backup camera for the visual. finally try unplug the deck let sit for 10 min and see what you get.

It only works when the car is in reverse. Also, some units have trigger options in the settings menu.
