I went to have my CDT ES620's installed today and found out they won't fit without doing some major cutting and all sorts of extra work. The basket is too big. So here I am look for some suggestions. I'm looking for a 6.5 component set for around $300 or so. I listen to mostly heavy stuff with an occasional hip-hop song here and there. I'd prefer a smoother warmer tweeter, but I'm open to any suggestions at this point. I was thinking maybe Rainbow SLC Kicks, but I'm not too sure on the basket size. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

So the restriction was mounting diameter?

Because we'll need your space restrictions (measurement wise) in order to give recommendations....no sense in you getting something that again won't fit.

I have probably about 2.25 - 2.5" of of mounting depth without making some major overhauls. As far as diameter goes, I don't know off my car. The basket for the CDT's measures 4".
