Im sick of workin at my desk... sitting here and waiting for people to call in with there problems with our DSL. I HATE tech support IT SUCKS balls.

So yesterday I went into a local shop talked to the owner and I should have a job with them ASAP. Mid next week.

me i like tech support, but then again i like the benefits more than the job itself. free directv, great insurance, good pay, easy work. all +'s in my book

i have a desk job too as a comp support spec, when i'm not at college full time you basically maintain the network... besides that, you wait for something to break...

makes for very long days

lol where I work at there is no waiting to see when something breaks. I don't think I've ever came to work and not had some stupid user try to fix the computer before they call us... f*ck them.

good luck on your job interview and whatnot. I wish I could work for an install shop around here but everyone wants MECP certification and knowledge of remote starts/alarms (which i lack).

Well went in and handed him my resume and he gave me a mini interview and we takled for an hour. He said monday or tuesday I get an interview and thursday or friday I should be starting.
