Back in the game, finally......

It's been almost 12 years since I installed a system in a vehicle and boy have things changed. I have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks and just registered today. This used to be my number one hobby. My last system was all Orion components when they were at their peak. Too bad they went downhill. Orion gave me years of great service and never had a problem with any of their equipment. I have had the Cobalt, xtreme and hcca series (all at different times of course) installed in previous rides.

I am glad to have found such a knowledgeable bunch. The information here has saved me from making some horrible purchases. Here is what I have on the way so far:

Soundstream VIR-6500 HU

Audiopipe 15001d (will be running at 1ohm)

Crunch GPV 1000.2 (2ohm for mids and highs)

Audiopipe 6.5 inch components front

Lanzar optipro coax rear

2- RF Power 10" 4ohm DVC (600Wrms ea.)

vented box 4cu ft.

0 gauge wire all around.

I have been staring at these power 10's for two years now. A friend gave them to me a while back instead of some money I was owed. Can't wait to hook it all up. Btw the vehicle is a 2002 Toyota Sequoia limited. Lots of space back there, will probably upgrade to some Diamond Audio 15's in the future.
