BA Z6 comps with USA-1000x amp

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what amp to use for my BA Z6 comps. Well, I just bought a USA-1000x and plan on using that. What do you think about this combo? The 1000x doesn't have a high pass x-over but I think they Z6 passive x-over will handle it fine, right?

should be fine. i would high pass on your hu if possible. the passive will only lowpass the mid and high pass the tweet. more likely you need to have a highpass for the mid so use your hu for that.

From experience, they like power. I had a PG ZX450 bridged ~ 250x2 running to mine and I thout they could have used a bit more. You definately want to run a high pass X-over, since the inluded passive units will not provide this functionality. I had mine crossed at about 50-60 hz @ 24db/octave, but they would get muddy with the volume cranked. If you like it LOUD I would suggest something in the 80hz + region.

Cool, thanks guys. I wanted to put some really good power to these because I think they deserve it. I will attempt a very good deadening on the doors in order for the money spent to be worth the result in SQ.

My HU isn't the fanciest in the world, but it does have a high pass feature...so I'll give that a try and play with functions to get the best sound. Thanks for your input.
