*In order to get the full power output of the amplifier, it is crucial that your electrical system is correctly (over) dimensioned. Failure to upgrading will constrain the power output & lower the efficiency which can cause damage to the amplifier & void the warranty, this also includes ohm loads below of what is written in the manual. Do take your time and read the manual thoroughly before installing.

This is shady as fuck.. why don't you just say there's no warranty at all? Are you going to personally inspect customers cars and if so how will you know it is really the car it was intended to?

you have to realize that most people think a 150 amp alternator will power a 5kw. people abuse stuff more often than not.

Don't know why your getting bent out of shape over a simple description which is part of their warranty reasons. I have seen many descriptions such as said above to protect the company from false information from customers. Yup...we still have dummies in this world, some not so smart as to much needed sometimes detailed descriptions that are at times necessary.

True. But...100 bucks says electrical questions will arise. GP ain't stupid. I'm sure they got some sort of form with questionaires lined up/ready to go to offer a warranty if a manufacturer defect was in place or if it was abused, person refused/didn't up his electrical, etc.

marc...this isn't a picnic. Lots of things that you need to understand than just a so called "lame statement" because you feel the need to call him out.

You do realize that is B2's warranty policy. I do not see a problem with clearly outlining the manufacturers recommendations. I would not call B2 shady. They seem to be a rather legit company.

This is pretty standard from a warranty standpoint. Any time an amp tech discovers damage that is pretty clearly low voltage related, the company likely will not honor. Warranty is for defects, not abuse and user error... Same with subs. Virtually no companies will honor blown coils. Thats not shady at all imo. These smaller companies do not have massive margins to just honor every installation error out there.

Board looks good. Same as AL 5k and Brutal Sounds 5k

Yea that's B2's warranty statement, and similar to many.

We are always here to consult and assist in being sure the electrical is setup proper and sufficient to protect your investment, ensure reliability and most importantly, get the best performance out of your setup.

This model per B2's recommendations is not suggested to run at under 1ohm.

If you are wanting to drop the ohm load way down, the R series amplifiers is the line you will want to look into. Zero.5R, Zero.7R, M12R, & M15R

We, and many from our team run the R series amplifiers wired very low (sufficient electrical of coarse) in daily applications with no problems.

This issue is why some companies only sell through brick and mortar stores and only warranty if a legit shop hooks things up. At the end of the day if you can find a company that'll just send you a new amp for a broken one no questions asked they'd have to charge 4X the money you guys are used to paying to cover the cost. There's no such thing as a free lunch and it's not like B2 is selling anything different than anybody else that calls Korea and asks for their brand name to be etched into a heatsink.

In short the quality should be on-par with the dozen other brands of big amps that are popular and I'd expect actual warranty service to also be about on par with those comparable brands.

If you blow the amp it's sent in to be repaired the repair shop can tell us what happened to make the amp fail
How can they possibly know how it failed? Apart from some obvious stuff I'd wager it's not that easy.

Memphis dealer in town use to say that memphis would not honor warranty on 2500 and 4000 unless there was receipt proof that the shop upgraded the electrical as well.... but he said when that is the case, memphis would swap amps no questions asked.

Not sure if its true, but it seems logical.
