Pair of B&G NEO8 PDR, these will appeal to the SQ guys. TESTED ONLY.

In the proper configuration you can have very dynamic response from about 350hz to above 20khz with these, making it very easy to cross low to a pair of 6, 8, or 10 inch midbass which will yield a tremendously cohesive image. Provided you are feeding them a quality signal, they will extract details that were masked over by slower drivers. The only thing better is a true ribbon.

They're 4ohm and they are very efficient so they need only little power to get quite loud. They can make you blink even if you don't want to. They are also dipole so you will need to address this either by building a small enclosure or by using an aperiodic method.

I have built the necessary notch filter from quality components for the notorious FR peak that these have and will provide them for free if the buyer wishes. This is NOT a crossover, simply a passive EQ circuit to smooth the response. I have also taken the liberty of soldering lead wires as this can be a delicate procedure with planar devices. I've used CAT5 for the lead wires.

I will be happy to help THE BUYER extract the full potential of these drivers, including overcoming the beaming associated with long membranes, so that they may enjoy a smooth off-axis power response.

Aurasound NS3, 3" aluminum cone wideband driver, 8ohm version. NEW

These are strong performers for their size. They have a relatively low Fs and a Qts of .67 so they do very well free-air, provided you use them correctly. A sealed pod of 2 or 3 liters is also perfect. They are referred to as full range and although they do play quite high in frequency, they are not very refined on the top end. These would make excellent wideband midrange drivers. The low frequency response will surprise you, as will the 20mm mechanical stroke.

You want the notch filters as well? If you use these active you won't need them as long as you address it with a little EQ love.
