Awis12p?

I have been looking into the audiobahn AWIS12P and was lloking into putting 2 of them into my 02 escalade. Does anyone have these subs that could give me a review of how they like them. If you have heard them let me know how they sounded or any other general input about these subs. All info will be appreciated thanks.

i got to hear a pair of them in an explorer sport. they were sealed up though. They got decently loud, and sounded better than alot of the audiobahn subs i have heard. but you could do alot better for the $$$ that those things cost. what kinda money are you looking to spend and what kinda amp you got to go with it?

im looking to spend up to 400 per sub and want pounding SPL with decent SQ. I am going to buy two new mono amps when i get the subs so it doesnt really have any restrictions as far as picking the sub goes

12" SX's... ~$270 shipped each... those things will murder an immortal SPL wise... and htey are supposed to have great SQ for being 'SPL' woofers.. get 1 mono amp that does ~2000 rms @ 2 ohms and you'd be set....

if installed correctly you'd get stupid loud, and you could use the extra $130 on sound deadening cuz your going to need it lol.

by the way if i was gonna get an RE which is higher in SPL the SX or XXX i would get 2 12's either way
