Avionixx 800.2 for RE SE's or upgrade?

Hi everyone.

I have an Avionixx 800.2 that I bought a while ago to run my single ED 12A22.

I decided not too long ago to go with a 2 sub setup due to my ED just wasnt loud enough.

I decided that my subs of choice would be the IDQV3's.

As time went on the price really was keeping me from picking them up.

I looked around and found a deal on a pair of RE SE's.

I initially build the enclosure for the IDQ,s at about 1.4 cu ft ea sealed.

I bought the SE's and now have them installed.

They sound pretty good sealed and I KNOW THEY WILL SOUND EVEN BETTER PORTED.

I DO NOT INTEND TO PORT THEM YET. I dont think I have quite enough room.

Anyway the Avionixx is bridged 4 ohm so its about 400 per sub.

I think the measured voltage at the time I bought it was 12v.

So its probably more than 400 per sub. My voltage reading on my DMM was 13 and change.

I am currently thinking about upgrading the amp to a AQ1200D, Cadence 1000.1 (I think thats the model) or a Sundown.

I would like your guys opinion on this.

Am I going to notice any kind of a difference if I upgrade?

I do know (I think) that the power would need to double in order to see a larger volume gain.

Once again I am not ready to port them b*itches.

I just want to know if I replace my current amp with one of the above choices if it will make any difference.

I will add that I have not done the big 3 and am using stock alt.
