Avic D-3 and negative tempuratures?

is the screen safe from freezing, i've been noticing how whited out it gets when i get in my car, my i-pod froze up so i brought that inside. but should i pull my deck out for the winter? and today when i got off work it was -6 F and it wasnt loading from the i pod, then i touched the screen and it imediatly started playing.

anyone have any problems like this with D-3's or other DVD screens?

no one really? come on canadians im like 10 miles from the boarder i know some of you have screens in.

my AVIC-D2 did the exact same thing until my car warmed up... BUT my AVH-P5700 flip out does not have any problems and i keep it out all the time, not folded in.

I feel your pain dude,

It's been two cold days in a row and my avic 900bt worked like 5min after of alot of car heating.....

worst is it's too cold to remove it and instal something else...
