Avh-p6400 + Bose

The short answer is yes. Those nissan bose systems are amplified at the speakers, the radio will work but you must connect the remote(blue/white) wire or the factory amps wont turn on and you wont have any sound. one thing you will notice is that the new radio is louder than the factory radio(1 sounds like 10) also you will notice a bigger "jump" in volume when turning it up. this is because the new radio has a built in amp and the factory doesnt. its not a big deal but some people dont like it and at high volumes it distorts. there are 2 ways around this you can either buy a bose adapter(peripheral makes one) which is just a HI-LOW adapter that goes inline with the speaker wires so you can adjust the levels down. OR you can replace all the speakers and bypass the factory amplifiers(bose speakers are 2ohm) which i dont recommend unless the factory ones are blown.

Honestly, just replace the speakers. I changed decks in my infiniti with bose and thre were some compatability problems. I went to crossfire x6 components and got tons more sound, and it sounded alot better.
