so i got this headunit from my buddie that "said" it worked. we took it home, and hooked it up to a 12 volt source and it did work fine, then we went to hook up the speakers and put the thing in his car and then it will NOT turn on. We checked the wiring, we re did the wiring, then we checked again, and still, not one hint of life. Now i know this headunit is worth upwords of 900 bucks so i really want to salvage it. Any ideas on what the heck is wrong with it? and trust me, i checked the wires.

theres always a wire for the screen,. that sometimes must have power too. check that, and then do the old fuse checks

got it to turn on, now the dvd or cd won't eject. Any ideas? I have to pull the cd out with needle nose pliers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
