AVA top end??

All depends on the enclosure. If its in a huge low-tuned ported box then then the higher bass won't be great, definitely present. I its sealed though it will remain pretty flat. There will be higher bass present as long as the x-over isn't set at like 50hz.

yea i was thinking it the reccomended box of 3.5 cf tuned to like 28-30

take a 15 inch sub with a high excursion and low fs, put it in a big ported box tuned low, your not going to get a good top end with any sub. Your bottom end is going to be huge, but that was your goal in the firstplace.

I've only played with my ava briefly, but in a 2.1gross box it has a pretty flat response, not too overbearing on the lows, but it does dig deep.

anything larger then 4 cuft ported and you really kill th top end......You would be fine in that box. Just don't tune any higher then 28 or you'll start to get real peaky and take away some o the flatness.

yea i got cdt HD-62 comps so i have the midbass taken care of i just want it to blend properly

If you really wanna ake care of 60-120hz get some 8's and run 4-way.
