AV dash Install

I've been thinking of either getting the Kenwood 7017 or 8017 model for my "05 Yukon" but everything I read tells me these units won't fit. Does anyone have any experience with either of these units in a newer Yukon. Also, I have been trying to do a bit of research on the parts I'm going to need for my install of the DDX7017. I see there are interfaces I am going to need in order to have everything running properly;

OS-2Bose- to keep the Bose amp,etc

SWI-ALP- for the radio/steering wheel control

CM-1- for the system/truck chimes.

Now please correct me if I'm wrong in assuming all of this equipment still doesn't allow people in the back seats to use the separate rear audio controls. I'm looking at $900.00 for the radio and another $250.00 for the interfaces and I still won't have a complete system. If I'm missing something, please let me know. Thanks.

I am looking into the same stereos. did you find the ddx9017 for $900?? Also where have u seen the swi-alp? Thanks!

A little modification will be needed to fit it in, but it will work.

Isnt the swi-alp for Alpine?

I looked on the PAC website and it stated the SWI-ALP will also accomodate Kenwoods. Also I'm able to get the 7017 for $900.00 through military prices.

yea, the swi-alp works w/ kenwood as well.

Yea i could get that price as well for the 7017, but i really want that 8017. lol
