this amp is underated and extremely capable of a high spl install or a decent sq install so this amp is for both side's.

1200 @ 1 ohm and will do much more.

my guess would be because of the price....I have ran 2 of these and they are nice ampolifier but I spent 350 on two BNIB ones...good luck with your sale.
