Autotek quetion.

Well i like the footprint of the IA. And it's strappable but if everyone likes the Autotek I and feels it is a comparable amp then what the hell. Autotek it is. Can anyone tell me how a MaxLink works?

I just bought the first of two MM4000.1Ds. Got it for 484 shipped. Can't afford the second one at the moment. Just a couple hundred short. Hopefully it will still be available on the 1st. Me=EXCITED.

Just thinking, does anyone think that two MM4000s is too much for two Fi BTL 15s F/L? I'm still going to buy them, I'm just wondering if I should be super careful with the gain or if the BTLs can take it daily. I figure after voltage drop and impedence rise I'll be getting about 3000 to each BTL.

Now I'm wondering if I can fit 18s instead of 15s. Ahh the pursuit of sound pressure. Anyone know if an 04 TrailBlazer LT 4 door can fit 12 cubes net subs up port back below the window line?

Well I just got in a big fight with the wife about spending money on the amp. I tried to explain my side and I don't know if she sees it my way. I gave her the info online to the amp and told her that if she really wanted me to have it I would let here do it. I told her either way I won't be upset but at least if she goes online and gets it she can't be mad at me for doing it. I spent about an hour explaining to her how much I want to do the new stereo in the Blazer and how much it would mean to me if she wanted me to have it, knowing how bad i want it. So we will see by tomorrow I guess. Yesterday I place the one and only, winning bid on the amp and I'm going to let her decide if we are going to pay for it. Cross your fingers for me please.

Also, should her concious get to her and she does go online and get it, batteries are my next purchase. I'm looking at getting 4 Yellow top D34/78s. 2 PWM-D3100s cost the same. What would you choose. The powermaster says its 2400 max amps but found it was only 1200 cranking. The 4 Yellows would offer something like 3600 cranking where the PM would be 2400 for the pair.

i say you could probably squeeze 12cubes in the back of the trailblazer and keep it below the window.

i'm running a mm4000 to a btl 12 right now and i'll tell you, that amp can cleanly deliver all the power that btl needs for daily purposes. You won't smoke a coil with it, well at least not at 2 ohms, but you might rip a tinsel if your not careful with the excursion.

If your running 2 of those you definately need to invest in some serious alternator power.
