at 0.5ohm-mono, does it run hot? I've always been curious about Autotek amps, but I haven't had anything since the Autotek Mean Machine 66 days.Well thanks for the input man i just bought one off ebay for 190 total and i hope it sounds good i have an Autotek AMX50.2 MEAN MACHINE in my car now and its a BAD ***** .5 ohm stable and its not quiet...i was also wondering what ohm load was he running it to that sub and it didnt get hot or anything? well thanks for the input man!
sorry, but I don't see anywhere that the amp was 0.5 ohm stable?Oh yeah no prob. i was running 4 twelves all wired at 2 ohms a piece running all of them mono. it got hella hot QUIK so i ran them 1 ohm stereo and it had no problem i currently have it running just 2 12's at 1 ohm mono but soon to be back running them at 1 ohm stereos as to im buying 2 more of those pioneers i have the TSW305DVD man those subs are some hard hittas they hit harder than my comp vr 15's i also have and there in a sealed 2 cube box seperator board.
Yeah, I read that...but you also stated that it got hot really quick. That wouldn't be a good sign that the amp is 0.5ohm stable..is it?Yeah i know about that 1 ohm stereo = 2 ohms mono, im pretty sure i was running at .5 ohm 4 12's at 2 ohms a piece bridged
