  • Fidelity Exceeds Conventional D-Class Amp Designs
  • 1-Ohm Impedance Stability
  • Less Energy / Current Needed From Vehicle Battery
  • Less Heat Compared to Other D-Class Amplifiers
  • A/B Class Amplifier Audio Quality
  • High Damping Factor For Improved Bass Impact
Are the quality of these class-D amps actually comparable to class-A/B? I've seen many of you guys post about how well these amps perform... are there any major downsides to these amps?

Super D-Class™ is the precise, high-current capable digital power supply control circuit exclusive to Maxxsonics, parent company of Autotek. The Evolution of Power begins with the Autotek Mean-Machine Super D-Class™ mono-block designs. Autotek engineers required all the Super D Class™ amplifiers to include the TCID Twin-Coil Isolation Design in the power supply. This Road Worthy™ TCID (Twin Coil Isolation Design) features extremely high current capacities and faster D to A conversion. Super D-Class™ digital amplifiers dramatically improve upon the sonics of traditional D-Class amplifiers. Super D ClassTM also offers major “Current” efficiency improvements over other D-Class designs. This important advantage downsizes the amplifier heat sink requirements simply because 85%+ of the car battery energy is converted into audio instead of heat. By significantly reducing the HEAT, Autotek amplifiers achieve major power advantages without major compromises in audio quality.
Seems too good to be true. Does anybody with first-hand experience with Autotek MM amps have anything to say about the sound quality/output? I would appreciate that as I am looking for a couple new amplifiers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Output lots lol

Sound quality very good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But I think personally alot of the sound quality has to do with box design and driver
