Aussie Here need some Advice on U.S Gear!

Hello

As said im from Australia and looking to ship some Car Audio bits from the U.S..

Im looking to buy 2 Audiobahn ALUM15Q (15"s) and get them Imported here to Australia for my own use..

Just wanted some Opinions on what you think of these subs..

Cant really get much infomation here because only a hand full of people own any AudioBahn gear..

Alot of Apline,Sony,Kenwood etc etc going around and i need something differnt..

Any help with this would be great I was told to come talk to you guys!

If you are looking for SQ, I suggest looking elsewhere, Audiobahn's can get very loud but aren't known for their SQ. What is your price range (in American dollars) ?

I gotta second John's suggestion that you look elsewhere. You can get anything run-of-the-mill from alpine type R's that have pretty decent SQ to probably something sort of unheard of like an Adire Audio Brahma. http://www.adireaudio.com is the home page. I own a Brahma and it's an awesome driver. AWESOME Sq and AWESOME spl.

Just trust us, don't buy Audiobahn if you want sound quality.

I was also looking into Earthquake 15" magma Woofers but they are probably a sub more suited to SPL aswell...

Ill look into maybe buying Brahma Someone was telling me about them.. But its just looking easy for me to buy a AudioBahn woofer from the us than it is for most other brands.. What about any of the other AudioBahn Woofers? they offer a Large Sellection..

Maybe LoneRanger will check out this thread and give you some advice on enclosure sizing for some of Audiobahn's drivers, but most people generally regard Audiobahn as SQ crap. So, if he comes by, he'll be able to tell you what will sound decent, but none of Audiobahn's woofers sound good with even the slightest imperfection in the enclosure.
