i now have two of these amps briged at 4 ohms producing more that 200 watts running my front stage and after about 5 good hard hours of playing they thermally shut down.. i have my re 12.1 running wide open and being pushed even harder and its just barley warm to the touch while the aura now it too hard to even touch for a second... amp still works fine just these little fuka gets hots... dont know about the other models

The amp isn't meant to be run that way for an extended period. Try backing the gains down and see if that helps. Also getting some air moving around them would be a good idea.

Sounds like your overdriving the crap out of that little amp. EIther get a larger version like a 2300 or a different amp.
