Audison amps?

their vrx amps are some of the best in the world, i would of bought a vrx if i didnt pick up a sinfoni amp. Their lower lines lrx and srx have had some heating problems but overall they are great amps. IMO i dont think they look to great though.

X2 on the heat issues. Super important if you want to play the system long and loud and live in a rather warm area or drive a dark colored car.
Yup..

Great Amps But like they say some have heating problems..

Add a fan or 2 you should be good to go..

Asfar as buying them on the Web.. dont know man..

Installed this one last week.. (This Pic It's Not finished installing)

I have to agree they do have some heating issues. But otherwise they are some of the cleanest amps Ive ever heard. As far as purchasing these amps I know Focal doesnt deal with this line of amps anymore so you cant contact Focal...BUT...there is a store here in Milwaukee that is selling these amps at a discount price. The name of the shop is Kartunes and the number is 414-571-1077. I know they have some models that are used that came out of a competition vehicle. Their website is http://www.kartunes.net. Hope this helps

Some of the very best amplifiers in the world. I wouldnt say heating is a issue if you buy the fans that they sell. audison says you need them on any of their amps so if you go buy the product manual they really do not have a heat issue.

Troy please tell me you are going to be rewiring that amplifier. That picture actually almost made me sick. Seeing a 2000 dollar amplifier wired with cable a shop uses as their give away cable for their alpine 200 dollar amps. Please get some nice 16 gague or 12 gague and clean up that install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The new Lrx's do not have such ventilation issues, i can assure you. My LRx6.9 is running full tilt impedancewise and no heating isues.
x2. If you haven't seen or heard the NEW LRx line, then you're missing out. My LRx 4.1k and 2.9 are run hard with Z-E-R-O heat issues. Maybe previous generation of LRx or even VRx but certainly not the current designs.

The pride of ownership for these amps is high.

My SRx1 got way to toasty for my liking. It never went into thermal overload but was close.

Then again, i wasnt exactly being nice to it either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
