Audioque3500?

OP if you are looking for power @ 2 ohms just get a pair of amps and strap them. If you wanna rock AQ get a pair of the 1200's. Hell you can pick up a pair of 2200's used for around $550 shipped and that will give you more power than the 3500 and save you a good chunk of change.

And to the people saying the AQ's are budget amps...they may be cheaper than sundowns etc. but the quality is still there

Kicker ZX2500.1?

He wants to go new but yes that is another option OP. You could daisy chain 2 AQ1200s for that power, or for closer to 900 2 AQ2200s and have ALOT of power

But then ure limited to 2ohm minimum if there chained or run each amp to sub(s)

I guess it comes down to placement. Do you have a good spot you could fit that enormous AQ3500?

Also i wouldnt call AQ budget. There not even close to the same price range as AP, MB quarts, hfonics, or even lanzar optis for that matter. speaking watt per dollar of course

Yeah I have plenty of space. I will run the aq 3500 I just won $600 bowling so I may get the cresendo 5500, but I will never need that kind of power, so I will most likley I will run the aq.

Well me and my wife bowl together and she wants to remodel our guest room and a happy wife makes a happy husband. I have spent thousands on my system and she wants this $ to remodel so I have to make her happy. She has been very understanding of my hobbie, but I have spent alot of $, and I need to put some $ into the house. So this $ is gone, but I think the aq3500 will fit my needs and leave me enough room to upgrade when I want to.

Honestly ide go AQ since theres a 2yr warranty and top notch CS
Their warranty only covers defects. While I was there I only seen them grant 3 warranty repairs on amps and that was because I pushed the issue. Then when I took over CS I warrantied several others(that other wise would not have been warrantied), then once I left it went back to how it was before. So if some one wants a warranty go buy something from one of the online stores that offer a no hassle warranty.

With that said, the AQ amps are great amps overall and the return rate was fairly low overall.

Have you ever tested for actual power output on any amps? The AQ is very capable for his demands.

I've seen the AQ3500.1 clamp over 2kw @ 2ohm, so yes it will do that kind of power. As for running 2 2200's you can strap them at 1ohm, .5ohm per amp if you have the electrical for them. I run my 3500's at .5ohm with no issues as they're very solid amps, just gotta have strong electrical for that kind of power...

nope but ive heard it at 1 ohm and i liked my 3500 at 2 ohms better sounded louder to hear but idk mang
What you like and actual output are not the same thing. lol

I have extensive testing with AQ/DD products. All though I may not be fond of the some of the internal issues with in the company itself the products are still worth while.

then sundown must make mind blowing ******* products lmao i dont really wanna waste my money on a fluke to know my output i mean would be nice but not worth the money
Sundown has some great product but nothing overly crazy. Perhaps something with that particular setup liked one amp over the other. To many variables to consider to be honest. I would say the same about testing tools as for most they will be used once maybe twice then never again thus making them a waste of funds.
