Fi, hands down. American made (I think).

I've 2 AQ's and 3 Fi's, would take the Fi's.

Any sort of budget constraints? The HDC's are much cheaper but the BTL's should be louder, but all of this is dependent on if you do it correctly.

Those new motors on the btl look very nice. Some serious motor force and power handling on those.

FI For sure. The Motor is extremely stronger. the subs are hand built in nevada. if you get the newest BTL's The motors are made of neodymium. a rare earth element that is light and a lot stronger than previous motors. it's a little heat sensative though. so be careful. the HDC3's are more affordable, but honestly i would choose a single BTL over 2x AQ's. FI Ftw.

It is all in the setup. I have done small hair tricks with 2 12s in a few different applications.

SPL is all about application. If your enclosure and tuning are not correct for the car/sub(s)/power then you will more then likely be disappointed in what ever you purchase.

This is true, application makes a huge difference in SPL.
