6 feet for two sd2.5 15??? After displacement i hope. I'll be getting like 6.4 after displacement and its on the low side. How does yours hit the low???

I know he's keeping his new box close to his vest, but do you know how close to box tuning he is setting his sff? Or does he even use one? In addition to being loud, it just sounds good.

Most of the time I don't have my SSF on at all. When I do employ it it is never set above 30.Thanks for the good words! when i was running my 6 pr's i could still run 63 just cause of the amount of cone area reenforceing the lows,,I did end up building a port plug how ever cause i missed playing my bass disc's

your current box is far from ideal for your subs, so I'm betting 2 12" HDC's in a proper sized enclosure with enough power will be much louder...

Well considering that the HDC3 12's are new, the spiders will be really stiff...so yes they'll be louder but not by much. You'll still need to upgrade your power and/or box.

It's 6.6 cubic feet at 35hz after displacement.The lows hit nice...no complaints

you said your box is in the trunk,, how much room did you leave for air to move forward? just trying to get a picture of what ya got going on.were they firing back ,forward or up?

They fire up. The box levels with the back seat. Takes up the whole trunk. So, between the box and the headliner I'd say a foot or two maybe a bit more...
