This is from the V1, its been underrated since day one. The V2 is basically the same amp with just upgrades to make it an even better amp than it already is.

True story. I flew to Vegas and got a Fi shower curtain and a matching table runner at their gift shop. That is also not a realistic number for daily power. That was at .5 ohm and the fuses blew. Obviously that would never be able to be sustained. Im talking dialy numbers

How do you know? It doesn't say what impedance it was at but I remember him saying it was 1 ohm nominal.

Regardless OP - Get which ever ones you can get the best deal on. You can buy sundowns used and still get a warranty.

I did a direct swap from three AQ 1200D's to three Sundown SAZ-1500D's. Sundowns are more impressive, louder, can feel it more, overall I like them better. AQ amps did a very nice job and at a very good price tho and would recommend them if you dont want to spend as much for the Sundown. would have more meaning if you had TL numbers to back it up, but I know the 1500's are stronger then the AQ 1200's so I don't doubt it being a dB or 2 louder...

You went from 3 1200's that do rated to 3 1500's that do more than rated and your going to compare them. apples/oranges man.

And I agree it is kind of apples to oranges but don't hurt to throw it out there. The sundown 1200 is very underrated like the 1500 and according to jacobs test does 1500+.

aq are nice, they are alot cheaper i believe, but sundown is good ol usa made. its either you want to pay more or not? aq is deff a nice amp i own the aq1200

SAE amps are made in China and SAZ are korea.
