Audioque LW8 Vs. SS Rl-i 8

Ok guys first off I apologize for the vs thread I know its very n00b of me. Anywayz I'm down sizing my system, well the space it takes up at least, and Im going to go with 8's. Now I know everybody loves the RL-i's but does anybody know how these Audioque's would stack up against them? The Audioques are 40$ cheaper a piece but it looks like they need a bigger box then the RL-i's do. Heres links to the specs:

Considering the RL-i" is being retooled...going to be a tough comparison against a sub nobody's heard yet.

Ran with an RL-i8 for a while but zero experience with that AQ sub.

The crystal 8" sub is absolutely fabu for the price. The sound quality and the "speed" of the bass notes is about equal to the JL 8W7. The JL performs better SPL wise. For the price, go with three Crystal 8s if you are wanting good sound quality for little cost. I haven't had a chance to listen to the RL-i 8s or the Audioque 8s.

let me know how you like it man! They seem like badass drivers and there customer service seems top notch. Did you read about there mod program? If you buy a driver from them and later need it a different size or a different vc configuration you just ship it to them and they rebuild how you want! You just pay shipping.

audioque is pretty much a rebadged dd... and dd is known to make very LOUD woofers. i think like the owner of dd's dad started audioque or something like that.
