what??????? no scratches at all bro. are you talking about the magnet? if so thats clear tape to protect the pole vent. if youre talking about the frame and cone area that white stuff is simply broken styrofoam. the subs in great shape.

pretty sure its copper, i have the other one weeznur32 sold. all the stuff you see is the styrofoam that rubbed on it during shipping, since it wasnt wrapped
