2000 RMS for daily? I think that would be pushing both a tad bit. The dp more.

the DP takes 3k....

not daily but peak...

That "comparison" was pretty much worthless. I own HDC's and have heard a DP, both in the 15" variety and in proper enclosures for each sub, meaning correct volume, port size, and tuning.

My HDC's sound VERY good and get quite loud. I only heard the DP playing rap, and it sounded fine and hit low and got pretty loud also.

i would definitely have to say the AQ will get louder by at least 2 dbs under correct circumstances. i have owned both. dp 15s and 21s. HDC3 12, 10, and 15. the HDC3 for loudness. the DP sounds better and gets lower to my, audibly at least, plus theyre about 200 cheaper.
