audioque hdc3 d1 or d2?

Should I get the pair with a d1 or d2 voice coil? I was thinking I can run the amp at .5 and with the imp rise, itll go up a it. Or am I better off running them at 1 ohm? Itll be on a 250 amp alternator. The amp will probably be a aq3500.1 or a crescendo 3KWP which is like 4000 watts rms at .5 ohms.

Get a pair of dual 1s and run it at 1 ohm.........what type ofbatts u have

crescendo replaced the 3kwp with the bc3500... puts out moar! ... but yea, i would get D1's, and run it at 1... no reason to risk frying an amp, when you can get PLENTY of power at 1 ohm

I have a 2 stinger batteries but im going with kinetik, probably the hc2000 or hc2400. The crescendo rates their amps .5 ohms though? Still better at 1 ohm?

crescendo changed build houses for their new line.... the bc3500 will run .5, but its not rated.... and to run that, your electrical HAS to be up to par... but like i said, you'll have plenty of power for those HDC3's at 1 ohm, and its safer
