audioque hd315, fi bl

ok, please dont shoot me for asking this...

i was planning on getting a audioque hd315 and an kicker 2500.1 for my car. now the fi bl is out, and its starting to make my mind wander... if i were to get a 15 bl with all the options would it be able to handle my orion 2500d at 1 ohm? how is the sq on the new bl? do you think it would be better than the hd315? if so do you think that the hd315 is on the other hand alot louder? im really stumped here trying to decide..

any suggestions are welcome..

I almost bought a BL, even with all options 2500 daily would probabaly be a bit much. With all the options the BL is about the same price as Audioque, maybe a little less but I would do the AQ. I had DD3512 that I loved and the AQHD3 supposed to be better than 3500 series, it should knock your socks off. Both good companies with good service. I would choose the AQ in that scenario any day.

i see that you have a 12" mag, i had a 15" mag in my car (newest gen) and now it is my home theater subwoofer, how does the sq of the 3515 compare to the mag?

The 3515 is pretty decent SQ, but nowhere near the mag. I am 31 and have had 25+ different subs over the years and have yet to hear one for a car that had the SQ of a mag. My 3512 was good in the setup I had for sq but I had it tuned to 36 which is pretty low for a DD. If you tune a DD below 40 to 35-37 HZ, you may lose a liitl output but SQ is definitely respectable. I have learned that its tough to have good SQ and output in the same setup but its install dependent, and the mag is really close to both.

yea thats a good point, i loved the mag, i just want alot more output.,. as i am doubling the power from what i had before... (mag = 1200rms, hd315 = 2500rms)

get the audioque... i just got mine in thursday, and i LOVE it. and really, the SQ isn't bad at all.
