Have you ever metered at the headrest?

It's not that easy....
to tell you the truth, never.my van doesnt have seats lol.but i would say 9 times outta 10 its usually louder at the kick or headrest than the dash.btw i wasnt trying to single anybody specific out with my post, rather a group in general.i would love to see some dbdrag stats or iasca stats(webpages or competitor number)to back up the mouths.there may be a few that can back up their mouths, but i wont bet very many.

Headrest is tough to get loud sometimes, especially with fart note cars and cars with walls (port on the drivers side).

I would do dB drag if i felt like going against a sea of CRX's with alot more power than me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Truthfully, my car HATES being sealed up. It doesn't hate the dash so much, but it just really hates being sealed up, no matter where the meter is.

Much of the time, a car is quieter at the headrest than it is on the dash.

I don't make it a point to post on the forums but feel in this case I need to clear things up.
Cut SPL140.2 some slack; He has the AQ HD 10's. He bought them from ME and I did sign the backplates.

I should have cleared this up sooner but this has been a very bad week for both Audioque and Digital Designs. My son, Jassa, of Digital Designs lost his Mother and business partner and I lost a lifetime business partner, friend and companion.

Thank you DJ for clearing things up, did you get my email? i wrote it as soon as I heard, sorry for the loss and best regards to you, Jassa and the whole gain @ DD/AQ!!

His van was built to compete in IASCA, and built to the rules of IASCA for advanced 3 class. "J" is a veteran SPL competitor here.

Plus he's a class A- guy LOL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
