I bought mine used and play it daily (HDC3 a), on a ****** power acoustik 2000 watt, in a ****** built sealed box probably around 3 cf, with gain and bass turned all the way up, I let it break in of course, but they are definately better than any market woofer I have heard, and quite a bit louder to. I havent heard any sundown, fi, dd, dc etc. But for the money I have been very pleased with the woofer. I am still a beginner in audio, but I havent realized any problems with it.

Did they really only rate them at 1500w? That's terrible. We all know the truth on that. That tells me that they don't have confidence in something if the rating is that low.

That should tell you that they are catching on about the ability to fry coils on a moderate sized amplifier WITHOUT CLIPPING the outputs. But then....probably very unlikely on their part.
