Doesn't really seem all that rediculous. It's pretty typical really. Most strong boxes will rise at least 4X the nominal impedance. Sometimes more. Certain bandpass designs will rise alot more than that.

I picked one up on Dec 2, and installed it on Dec 3. Been running it pretty hard at 1 ohm nominal since then. I drive my explorer every day, so I've ran it as much as I can since I've had it.

Based on this amp's build quality and performance. Do you think the AQ 2kw amp would be a good match for a HD3 15 for daily groundpouding? i know they have not been released but based on this amp I figure the bigger one should follow suit in quality and performance

well poop, I think I'm going to have to jump in on the preorder on this guy now that I only have a need for ~1200w. Not going to find anything else of decent quality for 239 shipped new.

I tested out my AQ 1200D and it was comparable to my RF T1500-1BD. More to come later.
