I agree, its just hes trying to shove 2 15''s in his charger trunk, when the 2 12'' axis are cheaper and would fit way better and probably sound just as gound if not better and louder, since they will have the space they need.

you should have jumped on the parts express deal and got 2 Axis 12's for 200 each, shipped! You cant go wrong with those two subs, especially since they are $400 COMBINED and SHIPPED. I can tell you if your trying for 2 15's of either of the subs your looking at , it would be rediculous and you would most likely be happy with 1. Even a tc3k on 1000 watts made the rear view mirror on my car fall off, TWICE. Lows are amazing and will shake you down to the bone.

oh my bad, i thought 200 seemed low haha. 2 12's of either the axis or xxx will blow the 12 w7's away. 1 15 will probly hit the lows better as well.

the axis is a nice woofer, but unless you have a highly upgraded electrical system i highly recommend the acoustic elegance AV woofers... a ton of linear throw and motor force... outstanding woofer for the money... what the ID max wish it was and what a reference driver truely is...

Thanks fellows, I appreciate the honest, but dream smashing comments. A friend of mine has 2 15" CVX kickers in an 80's model box caprice. I had 2 12w7's in my charger(shitty box). His cheap *** 15's was way louder than my expensive *** 12's. All I want to do is put a system in my car that will break the ragedy *** vanity mirrors they use to cut hair!!!!!!!!Lolllllllllllllllllllllll I want the loudest, cleanest, hardest hitting sub I can find, and with the overwhelming size and weight of the XXX, atleast it looks the part. Also, I've heard 1 XXX is louder than 2 JL's. Is It reasonable to think that I could buy 2 Re XXX's put them on 2 T2001bd fosgates and be in the mid 140's, sounding good as hell? Becareful, a mans dream's are at stake here!

MAVSSOLJA, What's up with the JL 1000/1 amp. I've seen this amp power jl 8W7's to the biggest, beffiest subs on the market. You audiopulse's are rated at 2500 rms right? How does JL advertise this amp @ 1000 RMS but it powers 2500 rms woofers

the jl still made the 15 inch axis move, but nowhere near its full potential. I also ran 2 tc3k's and a Revo, and I can tell ya that those subs are amazing (all tc/audiopulse). I dont think I ever read a negative review on the output, or even looks of the AXIS. Just take a look at the specs as well, and the 3.5 inches of throw. They are great subs man, and if a tc3k on 1000watts rms will take off the apoxy of my rear view mirror on a basically new vehicle, while still sounding real nice, and getting super low, then you can only imagine a Axis on a nice clean 2500watt setup.

I also heard chargers are tough to get loud, might be your problem as well.

Yep! I'm not trying to win any spl competitions, just trying to get as loud as my car potential, can't compete with hatcbacks or Suv's. My trunk is small as shit, + the wheel hells are very deep. It,s not much bigger than a mustang

Dan owner of powerhouse customs, roanoke VA, will customize the trunk and rear deck lid.

He did this caillac, Squeezed 2 18" RE's in the trunk. I would like to use the method of

dedicating the entire trunk to air space for the sub. I sould like them to fire to the rear of the trunk,

while utilizing the entire trunk to the box. What do you guys think?

I would also have Dan try to mount 4 amps on top of the box,

behind the subs. Here's a link to the back of my trunk.

I can also take pictures, if someone would like to help in determining if 15's will fit.

Is it possible to face the subs toward eachother in the trunk?
