you get the advantages of a ported box without port noise

the vmp is an adjustable radiator so you can change the tuning by adding/removing weights from a pole attached to the back side of the cone

with the weights that come with the vmp you should be able to tune to 30-40hz... with the extra's it would be more like 20-40hz

trust me, the 10" is different... has to do with the suspension

buuuut, you dont NEED any more weights per say...
Well it's obviously different from the other ones, but I think Audiopulse knows the specs of their own drivers. Granted, how usable that range is may be a different story in the real world. Like I said, always good to have the extra flexibility
