Audiopipe APSM-1500; went into protect mode at least 20 times today

This is not a pressing issue seeing as i just swapped this out today, but i was wondering what could be the issue since i want to sell this amp. It worked great with my old 4ohm memphis 200w sub, but when i hooked up my 3xl, it was gunshy to jump into protect mode. Since the APSM automatically resets after going into protect mode, it would always come back on just to jump back off sometimes.

Its not overheating, it could jump into protect within 3 seconds of play time and hitting a bass note at mid-volume. Sometimes it would jump into protect at a very low volume.

Any ideas?

You went from a 4 ohm, to a 1 ohm load. If you have a weak spot, anywhere, in your electrical, running at 1 ohm will bring it to light. Could be a ground, a loose fuse (if you are using the stock ap one, make sure the screws holding that mini anl are tight), a loose battery connwction, a failing battery, etc.

heck if I know, I wouldn't buy either.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsdown.gif.d22f25895e9b40f2300c953691dacfa2.gif
