Whats involved in benchtesting an amp?

I remember you posting in my thread that you benched the amp, but your word is just like the words of the people who say don't buy it its crap etc.

Those amps are pretty nice. I talked in depth with JRod at AudioPipe about a few of their products and possible sponsorship a few months back.

Anyways, back to the point. Yes, the 3000 is just two of the 1500's strapped.

Yes, the 1500 will run at .5 daily(dont let that voltage get down though) but it's very happy at 1ohm.

And yes, it will do 1500 rms.

Good amps :)

ok... why arent they more popular?!?!?! lol rated power, 1500w at 200$?

im going to get one unless someone shows me proof i shouldn't just seems odd you don't see more, hell its cheaper than the hifonics 1600 and everyone agrees they don't QUITE to rated power and still love them lol

Search around some more, there's a good bit of shit on termpro IIRC.

And they're AudioPipe. That's why they're not popular. AudioPipe is not a high end company but they make some decent shit especially for the price. Quite a few people have benched the 15001's and said they did right at or a tad over rated at 1ohm and 14.4 that's always a good thing for a cheap amp.

Put it this way - I'd rather run this amplifier than a Hifonics

i've got some old school hifonics amps that a friend of mine gave me years ago and just recently put some to use, a thor a samson a falcon and an eagle, but never delt with the newer stuff, jjust heard good things.

I found the AP amps to be expensive. at least from the canadian dealer. the 1500s were like 469+ shipping.
i might get 2 3000d's for $800. you best bet is to find a friend in the states to just send you the amp. shouldnt cost more than $30

the 3000d is $400

i like the 1500ds the seem like nice amps, but the 3000d isnt rated @ 1 ohm (isnt "stable") that is why i never got one. but i have heard ALOT of good things about the 1500d
Are you sure about the 3000?
