audiopipe 1500 do .67 ohm load ?

like the title says can an audiopipe 1500 do .67 ohms

cant run the 15s we anted to not enough room so got 3 12 inch dvc 4 ohm subs and either going to run a 2.67 or .67 just want to make sure this amp can handell that load and yes my electrical is more than good from what i have read on here

Shouldn't be an issue. After impedance rise and what not you should be fine. We have a car down here running one at .5 ohm daily...

I'd check that actual impedence of the subs to see where you'll really be sitting. Chances are your 4ohm coils are really a little lower.

Yep they will run fine down to .5 daily.

This is very true, you will be more around 3.8(or less) per coil.

This car here has had his amp at .5 ohm for a while, not saying every amp will do it. This one does for what ever reasons(I'm guessing it is the impedance rise, his is very high) does though.

how do i check the ohms of each coil do i just you a volt meter set it to ohms and go pos neg of each coil?

and whats the worst that will happen if i try and run it at .67 if the coils are actualy 4 ohms

and am i correct the only way to get full power from the amp is to run it at or bellow 1 ohm?

what size fuse do you use in yours checkd the ohm load and with it all wired up its at 1 ohm so i am good there fired it up and works great except when you start putting some real power to the subs it pops a 100 amp fuse what do you guys recomend i use amp wise by the way getting 14.1 volts at the amp untell fuse pops

what? no no smoke every thing is fine i think its just pulling to much amprage through that little fuse so what size should i use?

I had to bump up to a 150a after I dropped to 1 ohm

wire them however you're going to run them and check the resistance at the end of the speaker wire....in my experience, two 3.8 ohm coils in parallel don't usually make 1.9 ohms like they (should) in theory

It's the AP3001D that doesn't like below their rated minimum impedance, it has a stricter protection circuit on it than the AP1500.

Never tried it with mine, I don't want to break anything.
