What happened to their website, everytime I try to go to the address, it pulls up page can't be found. Peckerhead signed a contract with eclipse to be a regional sales rep.

Part of that made him close up shop.

There are dozens of people that have been shanked in the deal as they are not honoring their warranties - some have had drivers there since January, and no way to contact them.

There was a guy on elitecaraudio who claimed to have overpeck's email address at Eclipse. I personally think the people should email Ray Windsor at Eclipse and tell him what kind of class act Overpeck seems to be. It is obvious that Eclipse knew nothing about his reputation online(they obviously don't have people reading the forums lol) or I am quite certain they never would have hired him. If they ever fire him, I will be a sales rep for them, part time during the school year, full time in the summer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ray Windsor is becoming aware of the situation, you have to realize he recently came back to Eclipse, so this incident was not completely available to him at that time.

He's knee-deep in it now, I'm sure some progress shall be made.

I didn't figure it would take long. I have no experience with Overpeck or Audiomobile, but given the number of people he has crossed, his reputation seems like it would be crap in the industry.

 
I can't believe some guy would actually do something like that... Screwing hundreds of customers like that. All i know is that i won't buy/suggest any Eclipse products as long as Overpeck works there.

eclipse products are excellent. If he was fired tomorrow...how would you know? Audiomobile was an internet based company. Eclipse may not have necessarily had any way of knowing what he was like(unless they had somebody reading alot of the forums).

Like I said before, sooner or later, eclipse will hear about him, and then they will deal with it.

After I posted this question I started searching on other forums and on the termpro forum I found a post were I believe it was eD that was offerring to recone or repair Audiomobile subs for all those people that got screwed over by Overpeck. I've tried to remain netrual where Overpeck was concerned because I did like the products, but this was a HUGE disappointment for me and a couple of people that wanted me to build setups with the Audiomobile line. Overpeck had brought back a legendary company name and for a while managed to live up to their standards of making a quality product, but what happened!!!! I don't really remember anything about ED offering to recone Audiomobile, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ben did something like that. That's one of the reasons I finally decided to go all out ED for my next project, the people they got working over at ED. Just go over to soundillusions.net, and you can see what a great guy Ben is. Perfect example is the nine.1 problem, which is something he cannot do anything about, yet he offers to give those people an amp that is 2x the price in place of the nine.1. Great man, with great products, and his company is getting a great reputation.

 
yep, ben posted at termpro, SI, and CAF (dont know about here) saying that he would recone the Evo-R if needed. He said he had access to parts, i don't know if the were Evo-R parts or similar, but he would use his reasources to recone only for the price of shipping and materials. completely at cost to the owner of the sub.
